The Simcenter SCADAS Mobile V24-II is a 24-channel module that supports V/ICP inputs with TEDS, A/D conversion, and signal processing functions.
Each of the eight high-quality 9-pin LEMO connectors supports data acquisition in the X, Y, and Z directions using triaxial accelerometers.
The module uses power-efficient, high-performance 24-bit sigma-delta analog-to-digital converters with a maximum sampling rate of 51.2 kHz per channel and an input range of 10 V, 1 V, and 0.316 V.

The 24-channel V24 modules occupy a single slot in the Simcenter SCADAS Mobile or Lab frame and support multiple signal conditioning, A/D conversion, and signal processing functions on a single expansion card with a single slot.
V24-II Input Module
with eight high-quality LEMO 9-pin connectors. Each input supports data acquisition in the X, Y, and Z directions using triaxial accelerometers. Each V24-II module can acquire up to 24 signals. Additional modules can be added to increase the number of channels.
Signal conditioning
With multiple input ranges (±10 V, ±1 V, ±0.316 V) and an integrated ICP power supply for the transducers, the module provides seamless sensor support for a wide range of applications. The V24-II features an ICP cable test circuit to detect an open circuit in the sensor cable. Errors are indicated by an LED on the front panel and simultaneously transmitted to the host to provide the user with optimal feedback.
To support dynamic testing of large structures with extremely low resonance frequencies, an additional, software-selectable AC coupling (0.05 Hz, 0.1 Hz, 0.5 Hz, or 7 Hz) extends the low-frequency range of the ICP accelerometers.
The V24-II also supports DC-type MEMS accelerometers. A 6 V supply voltage is available to support the latest generation of these accelerometers.
Analog-to-digital conversion
24-bit ADC with a maximum sampling rate of 51.2 kHz.
A digital filter with 100 dB of alias suppression provides an alias-free bandwidth of 23 kHz. Each ADC is preceded by a four-pole analog anti-aliasing filter with a selectable slope of 150 dB/octave. Digital decimation filters reduce the bandwidth in steps of 2 and 2.5 and ensure 100 dB alias suppression across all measurement bandwidths.
Signal processing
The V24-II is equipped with a power-efficient, high-performance DSP that enables online calibration and online broadband RMS calculation regardless of the number of channels.
