The SCES-CN4 is a 4-channel CAN and CAN-FD conditioning unit for acquiring and processing CAN bus data in professional measurement, test, and validation applications.

The unit provides 4 CAN buses via 2 D-Sub 9 connectors. Each DB9 connector carries 2 CAN buses. Supported protocols include CAN 2.0A/B, CAN-FD, and SAE J1939. This makes the SCES-CN4 particularly well-suited for applications in automotive development, test bench technology, ECU communication, and industrial bus data acquisition.

In addition, the SCES-CN4 supports the connection of TCK8 conditioning units. Up to 2 TCK8 units can be used per CAN bus, allowing for a total of up to 8 TCK8 units or up to 64 thermocouple channels.

Thanks to the galvanic isolation of the signal ground from the chassis ground and other connectors, the unit is designed for demanding measurement environments. A software-controlled DC power supply via the DB9 connectors enables the powering of external components.
