The Simcenter Testlab Instrumentation app is a native Android app. It allows you to connect to a tablet or mobile phone to complete the channel setup in Simcenter Testlab acquisition applications. With a tablet or mobile phone, you can move freely around your test object, even in hard-to-reach areas. The app allows you to edit and read Simcenter Testlab channel settings while instrumenting the test object. This helps you avoid copying errors later on, as you don't need to keep the information on paper. With the help of several embedded features, test instrumentation becomes easy and convenient with the Simcenter Testlab Instrumentation app. One example is the automatic search in a predefined sensor database in Simcenter Testlab when you enter the sensor's serial number. In addition, images taken with the app are transferred directly to the Testlab project for documentation and enrich your report.

Several features integrated into the Simcenter Testlab Instrumentation App make test instrumentation simple and convenient, such as the automatic search in a predefined sensor database in Simcenter Testlab when the user enters the sensor’s serial number. In addition, images captured with the Simcenter Testlab Instrumentation App are transferred directly into the Simcenter Testlab project and can be used there for documentation and reporting purposes. The Simcenter Testlab Instrumentation App works closely with the Simcenter Testlab Acquisition Application, both in offline mode (no Simcenter SCADAS front-end hardware connected) and in front-end mode (connected to Simcenter SCADAS front-end hardware), provided both applications are connected to the same wireless network.
